FIFA Gameplay to decide who wins the next big Premier League match of the day while reading the biggest headlines in world soccer. We talk everything from Ryan Mason’s injury to Mario Balotelli’s treatment at Bastia plus lots of US Soccer talk!
In this episode watch as we predict Liverpool Chelsea. Liverpool Chelsea highlights the week of matches as Liverpool hope to keep pace with the league leaders in Chelsea and hopefully help Chelsea drop points. Meanwhile, if you’re Chelsea, 10 points ahead of your competitor isn’t enough, and you want to stretch that lead out to the fullest. When you have Diego Costa goals will be scored. Can Liverpool’s make shift backline stop him? Watch this episode and find out!
We talk about Ryan Masons big injury. He crashed heads into Gary Cahill and fractured his skull. Meanwhile, Cahill got up and finished the match as if nothing happened. Hear our take on this!
We’d love to hear your take on the below:
#AFCON: Africa Cup Of Nations, does this happen too often? If so, let us know what you’d do about it. Also, do you think it hurts the African player’s value?
#Pulisic: Christian Pulisic recently signed a long term contract with Dortmund which ties him to the club until 2021. Clearly he’s developed well at Dortmund and they play a high level of soccer, however, should he have tested the market? Maybe you think if doesn’t matter in the long run considering he is so young. Maybe this would’ve been the perfect time to try something new? Let us know what you think in the comments!
#Bastia: Terrible pun aside (watch the video), Bastia fans racially abused Mario Balotelli by making ape/monkey noises at him while he warmed up for the match. How doe you think Ligue 1/FIFA should respond? Is it ok to deduct points from the club for their fans outrageous behavior? Let us know in the comments!
#France: If you’re French or spent time there, let us know if you think there is a racism problem out there? Is Bastia’s fan actions typical of what you hear in the streets of France or at a Ligue 1 match? Is what happened to Mario Balotelli typical of how blacks are treated in France? Let us know in the comments!
#TimHoward: Are Tim’s thoughts on the dual-nation players in the USMNT true? He seems to think that they didn’t show the heart he typically expects from an American. Maybe he hasn’t watched Jermaine Jones playing cause he’s all heart and red card potential. What are your thoughts? He seemed to back track from them later saying he meant everyone, not just the dual-nation players. Let us know what you think!
#Draw: What should we do in the situation when we draw a match? Should we start a table for the two of us or just keep track of the record? Maybe playing classic or golden goal would work best for the series in this situation. Let us know what you think in the comments
#WengerOut: If you didn’t watch the Arsenal Burnley match, you missed a great match. You also missed Arsene Wenger shoving the 4th official. It is now being investigated by the FA and we are expecting to hear Arsene’s punishment. If you worked for the FA, how long would you ban Arsene Wenger from the touchline?
#Caribbean: We want to hear from our Caribbean MASSIVE! Do you want to join in with other Caribbean nations and separate from CONCACAF? Do you think this is a smart move or a money grab? Is this another sign of corruption or a way to escape it? Are you from another CONCACAF nation and you think this is a good or bad idea? Let us know in the comments!
Who do you think will win this weeks match?
As per Kevin Foy and Jamie Pennycuick, we’ve decided that last weeks winner has to play with the weaker club. Last week Alexis won with Tottenham beating Manchester City. Alexis, a lifelong Arsenal fan had to play with his most hated rival, and win. It was tough for him to celebrate but he did it. Can Christian get back to his winning ways? He’s got the best club in the league, lets see what he does with it!
